EECS is holding its first ever University Preparation day to give students starting university this September a taste of the university experience. Lecturers have devised a mini-lecture series covering programming, audio, electronics, creative technology, big data and social media. Students and their parents will meet lectures and students over subject clinics to answer queries about modules, admissions, overseas exchange. Current students will present projects and discuss their experiences of working in industry. This event is aimed at students who have been offered a place at EECS to start in September, plus their parents (event by invitation only).
