IRTF Global access to the internet for all (GAIA) workshop

We are proud to be hosting the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF)'s annual Global Access to the Internet for All (GAIA) workshop this year.

Just a few of the far-reaching topics to be discussed are ‘Internet Censorship in Developing Countries: A Case Study of Pakistan’, ‘Next generation satellite broadband for developing regions’, and ‘The capability to trust strangers online: opportunities and barriers’.

The meeting is open to existing IRTF members. Those registering for the co-located ACM DEV 2015 event (being held 01-02 December) will automatically be registered also. Others wishing to attend should contact Dr Gareth Tyson.
