EECS PhD Student wins a place at the first Heidelberg Laureate Forum

Published:

EECS PhD student Sune Jakobsen has been awarded a place at the first Heidelberg Laureate Forum. At this Forum, Turing Award winners, Fields medalists and Able prize winners will interact with up-and-coming computer scientists and mathematicians. The selection of the invitees was made by a scientific committee with representatives of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the International Mathematical Union (IMU) and the Norwegian Academy for Science and Letters, amongst others. Applications for this Forum were highly competitive with candidates (current PhD students, recently finished PhD students and Postdocs) in the fields of mathematics and computer science from all over the world.

The first Heidelberg Laureate Forum will take place September 22-2, http://www.heidelberg-laureate-forum.org
