Models of natural language are divided into logical and statistical. The former are mathematically succinct and well understood, the latter are very applicable and widely in use. Recent work has combined the two to take advantage of the benefits of both. It has however only been applied to an elementary fragment of language.

This project furthers that work by modelling more dynamic linguistic phenomena with a focus on coordination words such as conjunction and disjunction. The joint project will run between EECS, QMUL and the University of Tilburg.
