I am a 2nd year PhD student in computer science.

My PhD topic focuses on the stock markets by using Bayesian Networks.
How does your research group support your research?
The group provides me with the appropriate knowledge in order to tackle the problems of my PhD and they are generally always willing to help me.
What are the best things about the programme?
There are opportunities for me to get involved in a British academic environment and to investigate a topic that I am interested in.
How do you think studying for your PhD at Queen Mary is preparing you for your future career in industry or academia?
Through solving real-world problems and gaining new qualifications (working on new software, programming skills etc.)
