Scholarships

Queen Mary is pleased to offer a number of generous scholarships to students on our MSc and PhD programmes for 2023/24 entry:

The DeepMind Scholarship

The DeepMind Scholarship is available to female applicants and/or Black applicants who wish to study for a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence or a PhD in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence at Queen Mary University of London; these students are currently under-represented in this area of study.

Queen Mary Global Excellence Scholarships

Queen Mary Global Excellence Scholarships are for students entering with a UK first class degree (or international equivalent) in the Faculty of Science and Engineering onto some programmes. This is intended to attract the most talented students from around the world to study with us. All overseas fee-paying students (i.e. non-UK/EU) are eligible. The scholarship is worth £2,000.

A wide range of other scholarships and bursaries are available, including the QMUL Alumni Loyalty Award and the UK government's international Chevening Awards.

Postgraduate Loans (Home and EU students)

The UK Government is offering postgraduate loans to English and Welsh applicants wishing to study for a Masters Degree.
