International Science and Engineering Excellence Awards

In recognition of the important investment that overseas students are making in their education, we are pleased to offer International Science and Engineering Excellence Awards for 2018 entry. These awards are for the value of £3,000 per year and are designed to reward academic achievement and help attract the brightest and best students from overseas.

International Science and Engineering Excellence Awards will be deducted directly from tuition fees payable to the College.

There is no need to complete a separate application form to be considered for an International Science and Engineering Excellence Award. Students will be considered for an award on the basis of their online application to Queen Mary.

Please see the central college funding pages for more information about eligibility and equivalencies.

Queen Mary Marshall Scholarships

The Queen Mary Marshall Scholarships were set up in order to finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree at QMUL. Jointly funded by QMUL and The Marshall Aid Commemorative Commission, these scholarships support up to two years of graduate study in any subject at either Masters or Doctoral level (with a possibility of a third year for doctoral studies).

If you do not fit the eligibility criteria for the Queen Mary Marshall Scholarships you may still be considered for the general Marshall Scholarships scheme. Under the general scheme at least forty scholars are selected each year to study either at graduate or occasionally undergraduate level at an UK institution in any field of study. Each scholarship is held for two years. Further information on these scholarships can be found on the Marshall Scholarship website.
