Research Interests:

My current research focuses on developing interactive interfaces to provide clinical decision-making support applicable to home-based and wearable real-time monitoring systems. Previously, I have carried out research projects on the multidisciplinary areas of user-centered interface design of multimodal systems and social signal processing, focusing on sensing and modelling multimodal human affective states and interactive signals in the context of human-machine interaction. I particularly enjoy the fact that my research can help improve the lives of people. Aside from my research studies I am actively involved with design, architect and implementation of end-to-end iOS apps, primarily for creative arts, science outreach and healthcare and heavily engaged with user interface design to build beautiful and highly intuitive user experiences.
