March 2000 - current: Professor of Computing Science, Queen Mary University of London. Head of RADAR (Risk Assessment and Decision Analysis Research) Group. Norman is a renowned international expert in software measurement, software engineering and risk assessment. He has published 5 books and over 70 refereed papers. His book "Software Metrics: A Rigorous Approach" has sold over 40,000 copies worldwide and is regarded as the leading text on software metrics. He has twice been named as one of the world’s 15 top scholars by the US Journal of Systems and Software.
