Study Abroad

Studying abroad offers you an opportunity to experience another culture, learn a new language, make new friends, improve your confidence and increase your employability by developing your skills and experience.

Most of our courses offer the chance to study abroad, whether as an eight week summer course or for a full year.

At the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, we run a set of programmes in telecommunications and networks with the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT).

Since 2004, we have been offering an innovative set of jointly run degree programmes in telecommunications, systems and networks. The partnership is genuinely equal – students graduate with a degree from BUPT and the University of London and teaching is split 50/50 between the universities.

In today’s interconnected global economy, it is not only commerce and industry that benefit from international collaborations – universities too are establishing new partnerships, sharing knowledge and experience across national borders and between institutions.
