FIRST® LEGO® League

Queen Mary University of London hosted the annual FIRST® LEGO® League challenge for London (East) on 25 January 2020. The FIRST® LEGO® League challenge is a global science and technology challenge that encourages an interest in real world scientific and technological issues and help develop key skills that are crucial for the future careers of young people.

Each year, FIRST® LEGO® League designs a new challenge for the teams. Students work together to explore the challenge and to design, build and programme an autonomous LEGO® robot to solve a series of missions.

The challenge is open to teams of up to 10 young people between the ag es of 9 and 16. Each team must have a supporting adult coach. Further information including how to enter a team is available at the UK FIRST® LEGO® League site
